自古以来，通州就是享誉全国的漕运仓储重地，是京杭大运河北端的水陆都会，被誉为曹运通济之州。京杭大运河不仅运送着促进经济社会发展的南北物资，也催生着各地多元文化的交流与融合。在通州这片土地上形成了独特的文化景观。

"Tongzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage" is a cultural publicity project promoted by the Tongzhou District government in Beijing. 

Since ancient times, Tongzhou is renowned as the country's major transport and storage, is the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal north end of the water and land city, known as the Cao yun Tongji state. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal not only carries materials from the North and the south to promote economic and social development, but also promotes the exchange and integration of diverse cultures in different places. In Tongzhou this land has formed a unique cultural landscape.
